About the Event
On Thursday, October 10, you're invited to join us for an inspiring and artistic World Mental Health Day event. Proceeds from this very special fundraiser for Pleo will help families with children facing mental health challenges find hope and support.
Pleo has partnered with the Ottawa Art Gallery's Creative Space program for this special event, and have invited participants to submit pieces to Art of Support. All artists will receive a generous portion of the funds raised through the sales of their artwork.

Proceeds from #ArtofSupport will help Pleo support families of children facing mental health challenges and help us help more families in need.
About Pleo
Pleo was created by parents, for parents. We know first hand that parents play a significant role in their child’s outcomes and research supports this. We recognize that parents can’t and need not do it alone. We understand the challenges and the stressors on families. And we believe that families facing mental health challenges can flourish.
Pleo, established in 2000, is a non-profit family peer support organization for parents whose children to age 25 are facing mental health challenges.
"I first discovered Pleo during one of the darkest periods of my life. Raising a child with autism and oppositional defiance disorder felt like an insurmountable challenge, and I was drowning in despair. But then I found Pleo, and it was like finding a beacon of hope in the midst of despair."
